Who am I? This is not easy to answer.

My name is Oonah (that’s easy), I have several other names but let’s go with this one.

Who I am has different expressions. I am a mother, sister, friend, teacher, cousin, entrepreneur, singer, dancer, creative. I am a Hope-er, Faith-er, Love-er, a child of God, a son of God, a follower of Yeshua Emmanuel the Christ.

Opposites live in me: steady and mercurial, diligent and lazy, naïve and shrewd, very hard and very soft, maverick and conservative, creative and also quite staid, a traveler who longs for roots in one place.

I am many things in one. One person with many sides.

I write because I want to bring change to the world. Will this happen? Not sure, but I will write, that’s why I write.

Writing is my agency towards inputting what I believe is right and valuable to the sections of humanity to which my craft is directed.

It is my hope that Oonah’s chirography ( a fancy word for writing) will, at best, provoke transforming discourse and practice and at worst, throw light on issues to which the said writing is addressed.

Your feedback is treasured, it is part of the transformational process necessary to bring positive change and right wrongs. We ALL have useable and relevant agency.
